Cover Obsession: Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard

I first saw the cover for this book a month or two ago.  I have to say, its probably my current favorite cover, and I just wanted to post it here because I am basically obsessed with it.  Here it is:

Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard

Basically, I think it is amazing.  The font is amazing, the dress is gorgeous and i love the gears and stuff in the background.  I think it all adds up to one awesomesauce cover.  i have to say, my favorite part of the cover is the extremely creepy tree.  I have an affinity for creepy trees.  Seriously, i want to own a creepy tree and put it in my front yard.  (Wow, I sound kind of insane......)  Anyways, let me know what you guys think of this cover, cause I positively love it.

Also, the book itself sounds super awesome/cool/ZOMBIES.  ZOOOOOOMMMMBBBBBIIIIIEEEESSS.  I also have a strange zombie obsession, but that's a post for another day...

Here's the summary:

There’s something strange and deadly loose in Philadelphia…

Eleanor Fitt has a lot to worry about. Her brother has gone missing, her family has fallen on hard times, and her mother is determined to marry her off to any rich young man who walks by. But this is nothing compared to what she’s just read in the newspaper—

The Dead are rising in Philadelphia.

And then, in a frightening attack, a zombie delivers a letter to Eleanor…from her brother.

Whoever is controlling the Dead army has taken her brother as well. If Eleanor is going to find him, she’ll have to venture into the lab of the notorious Spirit-Hunters, who protect the city from supernatural forces. But as Eleanor spends more time with the Spirit-Hunters, including their maddeningly stubborn yet handsome inventor, Daniel, the situation becomes dire. And now, not only is her reputation on the line, but her very life may hang in the balance.
